Why you left your religion.
Recognized my feeling of "God" as being simple wonder and awe at the vast and complicated natural world I live in. Love of God was simply love of life with older family members pushing that feeling as being "God". Tradition, rather than true belief.

Animal Intelligence: What defines it, and how do we recognize it?

An article on bees and complex problem solving caught my attention today:  http://www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2010/10/bees-solve-complex-problems-faster-than-supercomputers.html It's one of several I've come across recently about animal intelligence and problem solving. The bees were able to solve an issue supercomputers have trouble with, and also recognize human…

China has relied on coal powered plants for a long time and it shows. With estimates nearly doubling the amount of power China will need to fuel itself over the coming decade, green energy is going to be very important. But the article…

I made your text white on that reply to your blog entry so that people could read it.  Nothing else should have changed, but if there's even a letter out of place, let me know and I'll fix it.
