i have heard the saddest thing from my own partner. earlier this year our 3 yr old son was diagnosed with autism. sad, yes but it could be a whole lot worse. hes not doomed to die in 3 months time. hes not going to be in a wheelchair etc. as long as my son is healthy and happy then theres nothing to stress about.

my fiancee is a catholic from ghana. usually religion isnt an issue between us. but our son is approaching school age and my other half wants him to go to a catholic school. being an atheist i am dead against this. he also wants our son to go to church and learn the bible. my opinion is to allow my son to make up his own mind about it. i want my son to learn about darwin, science and evolution so if he ever does learn the bible he will have 2 sides to think about.
