so here's a little about me, kat: i am buddhist, but i don't mind others' religions (as long as they respect my beliefs are different then theirs) i was interested in this site b/c of the respectfulness, the blunt members of the site, and the truthfulness in it about so many topics. also, i feel as if i am at home, cause of the non-judgemental state of the ,members of this site. I must say i really enjoy this site ! (:
Why are you here?
Even though this site is for mainly atheists, i still am on the same boat per say when it comes to not having a voice when it comes to not believing christianity. I am buddhist and i feel people (especially here in the bible belt) are to up-tight in their beliefs to accept me as I am (its rather contradictary astheir bible states, accept people as they are) I do believe this a great website ! (:
The religion you left
Why you left your religion.
Well, for one christians tend to be stuck-up, non-friendly judging and contradict their beliefs.

Welcome from Knoxville. I belong to a group called ASK (Atheist Society of Knoxville). Over 500 members total. Around 20 to 30 meet weekly at Barley's Tap Room for eats and drinks. Great open minded people to talk with. ASK has a website as well as a Facebook page.ca.png
This picture should give you a hint as to where we were last weekend.
