Logic & Fallacies, here is a great informative site: http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/mathew/logic.html
Your Religious Status
Though "religious status" says "atheist". The option "none" isn't available. The fact is atheism is not a religious status, atheism is the lack of religion and any affiliation with religion.
I like to say that I am technically an agnostic, because I know that we cannot "prove" or "disprove" the existence of any supernatural beings. But I am a de-facto atheist because to believe in something that is so extremely improbable would just be foolish.
I am a humanist, though not a pacifist as I do believe that we must defend ourselves when necessary. I strive to apply logic (Boolean) as much as possible and I'm highly analytical. I am planning to return soon to college and to earn a Psy.D. I am fascinated by psychology and sociology as well as philosophy and politics.
Why are you here?
I'm interested in socializing with fellow atheists.
The religion you left
Why you left your religion.
As I slowly drifted away from believing I began to really think about all the claims meant to "prove" god's supposed existence. I had never been an extremely religious person, but the more I analyzed and applied critical thinking the more I realized that the monotheistic myths were no more true than those of the ancient Greeks, Egyptians, Romans or Scandinavians.
