Why are you here?

Dealing with people is worthwhile, but sometimes it's comfortable just to be around people who share the same thoughts and principles one does. Here I don't have to explain why atheism is not a religion, why I'm not an atheist because of trauma, how atheists can be moral, that I don't worship Satan, and why I can be so strident about intrusion of religion into general society. Why you left your religion.

The concept of deities is illogical, unnecessary, and contrary to all observed fact. Specifically regarding Christianity, any degree of study of the Bible shows that it is a heterogeneous, internally inconsistent, and demonstrably wrong antique book.
