Forgive me, but I need a place to air my thoughts. This is not a happy story so if that is what you are looking for, then I recommend you stop reading now.

Ok, so I know I've been a member on TA for about a month now but I thought it's time to join the club, and share my story. :)
I grew up in a "good christian home". I went to church every Sunday. I even thought the story of Noah's Ark was quite amazing at one stage. I'm completely gobsmacked that these creationists are so persistent with forcing schools to teach this non-scientific garbage. This subject has got old and tired and they need to accept that unless they can prove their creation idea as a theory (I mean theory in the scientific sense of the word), it's just plainly not science!
Why on earth can't they just let it go already? Don't they realise that teaching this doesn't contribute anything at all to science or the progress of mankind,…
