Tiffany Willoughby replied to John Phillips's discussion 'Sentenced to church.'
"thats bullshit. sentencing him to church for killing somebody. thats not gonna do anything at all. but yes, if it was me, i'd rather have to put up with church than go to prison. i realize im being hypocritical, but whatever. i guess if he…"

"i would totally go! easy time. but at the same time, i would be disgusted by such a legal system. actually, i might even protest, and ask to go to jail instead, just on principle. or, could i choose the religion? could i go to a jewish synagogue, or…"

James Cox replied to John Phillips's discussion 'Sentenced to church.'
"To me it is unclear if a 'church' sentence would be helpful. It seems more likely that his child is a little thin on common sense, and a little big on 'wilding/crazy making'. If religion could be seen as a civilizing influence, I…"

Profile Information

Your Religious Status
About Me:
I am an ardent anti-theist, who delights in blasphemy. Some might see me as arrogant but I merely have confidence because I have a better leg to stand on, that is to say my beliefs are substantiated with scientific evidence and require no suspension of mental faculties or the laws of physics.
Relationship Status
Why are you here?
I am here because I oppose religion, particularly christianity and islam. I hope to de-convert people by educating them about the natural world.
The religion you left
Why you left your religion.
I was part of a church ministry. I left because nothing fails like prayer. Prayers inability to resolve the simplest of matters in my own life made me feel as though my prayers for starving children in 3rd world countries were ineffective. This caused me to question my beliefs and as I like to say, questioning your religious beliefs is like playing jenga.
