- I'm a slovenly bohemian in a deerstalker hat.
I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Theology & Religious Studies, which thus far hasn't helped me to secure any kind of decent career.
In spite of my degree, I am most assuredly an atheist. I do, however, have a slight penchant for the Zen Buddhist thing.
I play the mandolin, 12-string guitar, tin whistle, harmonica, ukulele and anything else that takes my fancy.
My passions include folk rock, philosophy and all things cryptic. If you give me a puzzle, I won't rest until it's solved.
I can quote Star Trek and Sherlock Holmes in my sleep.
I probably own more books than your local library.
There is nothing in this world that satisfies me more than a good cup of tea, and nothing that disappoints me more than a bad one.
I'm an autodidactic polymath with a polysyllabic vocabulary. I'm also an incorrigible pedant, and will correct your every mistake in matters of grammar, logic and just about anything else. Most people find this rather irritating.
It is my greatest ambition in life not to be ordinary.
