I have seen religion at its best and at its worst and have through my experience and research decided that I fully heatedly believe that religion is holding back humanity. Without religion our world could be more peaceful and a much more logical world. I have many more in depth thoughts on the topics of theistic religion, but will come back and write more of them at a later date.

Hi everyone.

I am a grade 12 student in Red Deer Canada and i am unfortunate enough to be in a catholic high school. That means that taking religion class is mandatory for me. I currently have an assignment in which i have to respond to several quotes about religion vs science. It is my hope to put together a really well organized and logical argument from an atheist point of view.
