"Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence." RICHARD DAWKINS

About Me:
20 something married free thinker working in the Pharma industry. I'm skeptical about most things especially religion and bogus hippie mysticism such as Universal Law of Attraction and the book "The Secret" People need to learn to embrace reality and be accountable for their own actions and not always just "leaving it in gods hands" or "what's meant to be will be" or "I must have attracted this negative into my life" I believe we create our own destiny. I'm a big fan of Machiavelli, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Christopher Hitchens, Victor Stenger, Penn & Teller, Micheal Shermer, and Randi. I haven't lost faith in the human race I have high expectations for people and believe in the power of the human brain and evolution. The Human Race, the only race, has come a long way and I'm excited for future advancements.

I'm a foodie, I enjoy all sorts of cuisine and love trying new restaurants especially ones that I see on shows on the food network. I travel for work so it affords me the opportunity to try different foods and experience new cities all across America.

The religion you left
Christian, Catholic
Why you left your religion.

Humans can be weak minded and need to believe in something even something as ridiculous and baseless as "The Secret" or a virgin birth, which by the way is not unique because similar stories are seen as far back as ancient Egypt, Rome, Greece, and even in Tibet (
