About Me:: As an ex-christian, who ventured into the study of many religions before deciding that religion was really not worth my while, I have had a struggle with finding like minded thinkers. It is nice to see a home base for such people. I do still study many religions, and find myself at times some what partial to Buddhist thinking.

I believe that there are two kinds of people in this world:

Those who answer I do not know, however I will seek for the answer, and if I can't find it, I will continue to say I don't know until I can find pure logical proof of a yes or a no..

Then there are the people who know everything, and when they don't know the answer they blame it on a god. This way they can not be questioned in their reasoning, because if god did it, it must be right.

So I have promised a few of you my story.

So the holidays are over, the kids are tired of feeding me green play dough pork chops and are off doing a little something of their own, so I thought now was a good time to bore those of you with why I am who I am. Why I am here. What changed my mind to choose logic and reasoning over religion.

Well lets see here these are the things that happened that had nothing to do with it.

-Both parents alcoholics, both abusive and angry individuals.

So I haven't done the formal introduction, and I will keep it short, since I know many of you have holidays to attend too.

I am one of the new kids on the block, I just kind of started out rudely and jumped into the conversation, with out introducing myself. I really could not help myself to be honest with you.
