Grew up in a family that never went to church. My parents were both raised very Southern Baptist, and just never went back. I have never felt a desire to be religious, it would make life easier I am sure, to think I could mess things up here and have a redo in an afterlife, but I love the saying, "I don't have to be born again, I got it right the first time!" I actually owned that button in high school! I have had people say many times, "you are such a good christian" because I do so much volunteering, I am very kind and giving, but I have gotten brave in my "old age" and I am finally able to say out loud, "Christian? Good God I am not Christian! Just a good human being giving back like ALL humans should.

The religion you left
Was never a part of one
