- To connect with other atheists. I live in a country where religion prevails. There is no secularism here. It is very difficult to even be honest with your family about atheism because they will shun you, I could even get kicked out. The executives and other leaders are mostly christian. Declaring atheism at the top of my lungs would mean I would be discriminated in life.... I wouldn't get very far in life here. My boyfriend is a believer, and I also need advice with that, he's a great guy, but if a child ever comes into the mix i fear that our relationship will die over religion.

- It took a long while to get here. Started in primary school, I always thought the notion of having to go to church every sunday was stupid. I have better things to do with my time, including RELAX! When I got to college, I studied french literature, learned about the absurd and existentialism. I also learned about voodoo in sociology, and could not believe how stupid people could be to believe that. I then said to myself, they must also think other religions stupid when reading about them. I decided to scrutinize 'my' religion and realised if voodoo, hinduism, islam and all those others can be discredited, so can christianity. Why do we even need an answer as to why we're here and what purpose we serve? Why don't we just enjoy what we have?
