- I can not find like minded folk in my everyday life. I live in the buckle of the bible belt. I work with the public and I'm frustrated by customers blessing me and wearing Tshirts that read "God doesn't believe in Atheists" and I can't offer a rebuttal for fear of risking my job. When do I get my turn ?

Incase it was something anyone was looking for.
Doctors w/o Borders and the international Red Cross are your choice,, two that are IMHO top notch.

For sure the best is April's Fool Day. ( I love what the French do with the fish, we had a riot of laughter at work last year with that one.) How can one not love a day devoted to laughter?
I'm looking forward to my 1st May the 4th ( be with you) Day Not quite sure how one goes about celebrating that on yet.

The people on my list can, ignore, comment, agree, disagree, whatever, but it will get them thinking.

There are quite a few MEGA-churches, and a few bible colleges based here.
A coworker today made an interesting point. She wondered if the strong christian influence here in Tulsa wasn't caused by the OIL being discovered here in 1905. Lots of money was to be made up till the crash in the 1980's.
It seems to me there's always this connection between where the money is and religion.
