- Atheist since I was old enough to care, and understand what the bible stories actually propose. What a load of crap. Turned to science for answers at a young age. Aaaahhh, now I can really get to the bottom of what's going on in this Universe. Having earned a degree in physics, I feel utterly privileged to have sought science for answers, and fortunate to have been born to free thinking parents. As an atheist I have it much easier than many here who have to hide their views from their closest family members. Still, I wish I had more enriching friendships. It simply can't happen with religious people because the moment the conversation dwells on ultimately important questions, their god comes out. It's a frustrating barrier. It's one that keeps us from talking about questions that remain unanswered, that religious people pass off to god and close their mind.

What the!! Don't believe in Unicorns - they are in the bible - how can you not believe?????
There are other Unicorn icons on this site - and I wanted to form a new church called The Sacred Heart of the Perpetual Passion, with my fellow Unicorns. We would have performed many miracles, and charged xians heaps of money for said miracles. Alas, one of the Unicorns said he went berserk in public, so we squashed the idea. So, if you come up with another idea, just let me know.
Are you new to the site? It is really interesting, with many really clever people on it, it is inspiring and comforting. Heather Spoonheim, Jimmyboy, Stephen Walski, Arcus from Czech Republic, ex-muslims, people from all over the world. I tend just to froth at the mouth when a xian tries us out.
They just go circular reference, and quote the bible ad nauseam. The mistake xians make, is the majority of people on this site know the bible. Know your enemy. We are growing in numbers all the time - another thousand has joined in the short time I have been here. Hallelujah for the Internet - we can keep tabs on, and get information on just about anything - and keep in touch with people of like mind from all around the world. It's a miracle. Have fun and join in.
