- I never felt like there was a god in the first place and the first time I spoke about my views I was insulted and my mom called a bad parent. I felt that if somebody was insulted for their views and shunned by their peers what was religion worth. In my view not much So I left my former faith which I had felt my whole life to be a lie and became and a Proud, Happy Atheist

Fr the longest time I was afraid of what would happen if I told anybody I was Atheist. I feared that my family would hate me an that I would never become a good person. Having those thoughts in my head was a horrible thing to do to myself. I started to feel as if I was broken, damaged, wrong and most of all a worthless person.
