"This is an old post which shows that people can think about things long after they are posted. I think the dichotomy of "social conservative" and "social liberal" is outdated.  Many people tend to think about item by…"

"Nice discussion Davis.  It's interesting to ask, what are the Chinese people with respect to religion.  The communist government is atheist, but what about people?  Turning to my wikipedia font of all knnowledge :-),…"

"I don't know that I would consider myself conservative, or liberal. I'm a mixture of both. For example: I'm extremely PRO DAD's in the sense that we NEED MEN in our society to step up to the plate. I think we would be a MUCH…"

"I might not say, even if I remembered, but I can say I think this person never made a post... so "unknown". A pissed off guy atheist."

"On social issues I'm progressive, way out to the left of liberal. I'm a collective capitalist; I want employees to own the companies they work for. It's anti-Wall Street. Is it conservative?"

"This doesn't fully answer you're question, but I'm aware of an ex-TA member who deregistered with us because we were "way too political, criticizing Trump so much". I try to hold back my comments potentially critical of…"

"Thanks Davis. I often disagree with the articles I post. I consider that to be important. We don’t need to hear and read things we already know or already agree with. It's Sunday School, not Sunday Church! I take some liberties at times…"

Davis Goodman replied to James kelsey's discussion 'Are there Socially Conservative Atheists?'
"Reg is, amongst other things, apologetically secular-humanist and that far majority of them are atheists as well as left-leaning. That doesn't mean everyone else here is. He does the Sunday school cause he's good at it and if someone else…"

"What the poster her said is rediculous (we are all fiscal conservatives). Based on several years of discussions at least half the people here are full out secular-humanists. But then confusingly he thinks that is a stretch (that they don't…"

About Me:
I group up a Lutheran Christian, Moved to a few other denominations and ended up 'church of god' by the time I was 17.

By 20 I was able to say that I wasn't Christian.

By 22 I was able to say I was Atheist.

By 25 I was able to say I was an Atheist without having fear of hell run through my mind.

Since my early 30's I've been interested in the Taoist Philosophy (NOT to be confused with the religion some have carved out of it)

Now I'm 40-something, happy, positive... I'm an artist and a creative. I love life and think people are intrinsically good.
