About Me:

I am a student in the South Bay studying Biology and Philosophy (love it)
I am in the AF reserves (hate it)
I have only recently allowed myself to be a freethinker escaping the bonds of religion after 20 years, and could never even consider going back to my old ways of apathy towards understanding.

Why are you here?

I love to discuss and argue religion and feel all the wiser for it.
But as of late, i have received a lot of negative static from my religious friends and have lost some close ties due to my skepticism. So i am looking for a community of like minded free thinkers to meet and befriend.

Why you left your religion.

All of the anger and resentment towards nonbelievers really left me with a bitter taste, being that my nature is usually more compassionate and peaceful.
Also i couldn't help but feel that the children of religion were being hindered from evolving socially because of the restraints of religion.
My disapproval left me ostracized and looking for my own answers which lead me to science, logic and reasoning.
