- I would describe myself as the thinking man's atheist; however, it seems to me that the majority of atheists are already very intellectual, so that seems almost bland.
I'm still easing into my atheism and, admittedly, am still mostly in the closet about this to my family. I am, however, rather vocal about my beliefs (or lack thereof) at my school.

- I've been wanting to start a blog for some time, and this seems like a good place to start. I've been having discussions with my college's local Christian Apologetics club, which are always very fun and seem to be just begging to be written down.
I'm also here to share thoughts and debate points with fellow atheists and freethinkers, and for the support that comes with interacting with like-minded peoples.

So, last weekend, I went to this giant conference in Anaheim, CA called RE Congress (http://www.recongress.org) It for Catholic Religious Educators. As I've said before, I still spend a good part of my time helping my mom out in the church, and this including going to conferences such as these.
