Arguments for the existence of one or more gods.

I have been engaged in a long and convoluted discussion with a Roman Catholic correspondent, and I've been wracking my brain trying to come up with the clearest, most lucid response to his illogical and irrational arguments. I've written a final reply, which is the best argument I can think of, so figured I'd post it here for comments, suggestions, and generally contributing to the dialogue. Most recent missive from my correspondent wrote:I agree , saying " GOD exists" is not asserting "no GOD…See More

About Me:
I was born at an early age. I spent my childhood growing up. I have visited many places, done many things, and had many adventures. I now spend my time awaiting the Rapture.

Why are you here?
All my relatives are heavy-duty Christers, it would be nice to get to know a few rational people too.
The religion you left
Catholic
Why you left your religion.
The whole god-thing never made a lot of sense, and when I discovered that my parents' misery was caused directly by the catholic church's ruling on their marital status I gave up on the pretense of membership in the One True Church. Now I spend my days waiting with bated breath for the Rapture. The world will be a much better place once the deluded have been Hoovered up into Heaven.
