- From an early age it seemed apparent to me that religion was man's attempt to invent answers to questions he could not fathom at that time. I saw that religion evolved constantly due to social pressures. So where was the god element? Obviously it wasn't necessary. I felt insulted by the lame stories they invented to suit their political goals. I saw the evil it wrought.
