I am currently guided by a theory that my brain differs from that of many others, having never suffered from belief. Would be very interested to learn more about variation in human brains and how it relates to belief.
Why are you here?
I find religion fascinating - in the same way I might find another species fascinating, because it differs from me. Will I find atheists equally fascinating, or will I be bored by the similarities?

Why you left your religion.
I remember at about 8 years of age, being in sunday school and it suddenly dawning on me that these adults actually believed what they were saying. It wasn't just stories to entertain/educate us. It frightened me.
