"In that case, it's not about consistency, but about the level of detail and rule-digging that is being done to find loopholes. But I agree it is a slippery slope. However, where would you draw the line?"

Freek replied to Unseen's discussion 'Is a print job different from a cake?'
"What's your definition of 'traditional'? Perhaps the previous comment caused some confusion, your specialisation is based on the type of printwork you do, not on the background of your client base. To elaborate on your previous…"

Freek replied to Unseen's discussion 'Is a print job different from a cake?'
"The right to refuse should be based on what you are making, not on for whom you are making it. A print shop would be in their right to refuse to print content that goes against their principle, just like a bakery can refuse to make a gay wedding…"

Freek replied to David Vogel's discussion 'A Christian on the problem of evil'
"Hi David. Excellent point on earth (including paradise) being ordained as a preparation for heaven. However, you then have to agree that this undermines God's all-power, as he is faced with a refining process from the moment of…"

Freek replied to David Vogel's discussion 'A Christian on the problem of evil'
"Hi David, Thank you for your clarification. However, each point brings up several new questions: 1) Agreed. however, it is indicated that there will be no suffering in heaven 2) That would mean that the Fall to sin was actually part of God's…"

Freek replied to Unseen's discussion 'Property is theft. If it isn't, how?'
"This is not about justifying property (or slavery, taking the analogue), this is about defining things for what they are. Equating apropriation to theft, or slavery to murder generalizes the terms and depowers them overal. The impact of…"

Atheist, Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic
About Me:
I'm a christian on the last possible brink of christianity and believing. And since I've recently went through the Thoraic scripture again, I don't think I really want to praise such a god either.
On a more positive note, I've recently graduated on Chemical Engineering and I'm enjoying a bit of free time until I have a job.
Update: status changed to atheist.
Age
25-30
Why are you here?
As mentioned in the 'About me': It's not even much of a contest anymore, but I would like to be able to talk with some people in the same predicament (most of my friends are fully believing christians).
