The Ever Present Veiled Threat

Started this discussion. Last reply by Franklin Ayers Oct 2, 2009. 10 Replies

I recently received this little bit of intellectual drivel on a blog post. I posted a little blurb about Darwin and his struggle with Christianity and the mounting evidence of natural selection. I…Continue

Art Takes Time Square

I just signed up for a competition and art exhibit. It's called Art Takes Time Square. I post some art I created about the Christian mythos and the inherent evil therein. If you are into art and feel so inclined please swing by and sign up and click on collect to help me win the competition. The payoff is that art pointing out the evil of Christianity will be displayed on giant monitors in Times Square. Thanks for your support!…See More

Recycle your garbage day - on Earth Day

Please consider this. Holy books are garbage that do nothing but harm. Why not round up as many as you can on Earth day and take them to a recycling facility near you? That way you could take something that has cause immeasurable harm, and turn it into something actually useful! Just an idea!

Hey, hope that wasn't overly accusatory. We've just had a few instances lately of people pasting without linking when it wasn't their own.

Atheism and New Traditions

Posted on November 8, 2009 at 3:40pm 0 Comments

This was originally written in response to a dialog I was having with a fellow blogger on a political site. I have fashioned my self as the resident anti-theist and we were discussing the religious origins of traditions. The other person was Jewish. I think that tradition often falls into the trap of dogma but if we are careful, we can fashion new traditions to promote discovery and learning.
