- I was not raised under any religion until my step-father came around when I was seven. He is an evangelical Christian, I have never liked him. After he and my mother married she also became Christian, but I (secretly) did not. I have become nonreligious because I believe that Atheism is formed around certainty that there is no god, just as religion is based around the opposite, which makes it like a religion.

Much of what people do is done in the name of God. Irishmen blow each other up in his name. Arabs blow themselves up in his name. Imams and ayatollahs oppress women in his name.
