It was sometime in high school that I decided I was an atheist and started telling people that I was whenever religion was a the topic of conversation. Everyone I knew had accepted it except one…Continue
"Not sure exactly what type of questions you are looking for or if you want them specifically related to a belief in God. However, something came to my mind while I was reading your discussion question. When I was about the age of twelve…"
"My husband is a christian and we had issues also with planning our wedding because I didn't want a religious ceremony. Never been to the UK so can't give you any good locations to get married, but my husband and I looked into halls…"
"Growing up I was always very shy and introverted. It was so bad I wouldn't even say hi to a stranger if we were in a room alone. Now I consider myself both because sometimes I feel like talking to strangers and socializing, and…"
"hey, welcome back. Don't feel like chickenshit because a lot of us would have done the same thing. Like you said, we all need a job and unfortunately we are a minority that is discriminated against. I don't tell people at…"
"I could see where there might be a correlation. My mother, who is agnostic, told me that when her and my father got married, my father didn't have a religious bone in his body. Then one year he was diagnosed with lymphoma and…"
"It wasn't even so much atheist as just 'lesser Christian.'

I lost my best friend for being atheist.
This guy and I met our first day of school in biology class. He and my boyfriend were both captains of our hockey team (I was…"
I currently attend college while working full time. I try to stay active by working out, playing softball, and going out as much as possible. I'm a Washington Nationals fan ad never miss a game even if I have to record the game to watch it later. I've been married for less than a year to a man who's a Christian; however, it has never effected our relationship. My biggest pet peeves are liars, thieves, ignorance, and discriminators.
Why are you here?
I associate with all different types of people but almost never run into people with the same beliefs as I share. This hasn't prevented me from obtaining or keeping friends but I feel I need a place to share thoughts and ideas with people of the same liking.
