Why are you here?
There aren't many atheists or deep thinkers where I live. I would like to read about people more like myself.

Christian
Why you left your religion.
The search for truth. After learning that Catholocism was not entirely truthful, I felt that I must open my mind during that search for truth, or else risk just the equivalent of trading clothes if I found another belief system that sounded appealing. I was becoming an agnostic before I knew what that term meant. I went back to college. I studied anthropology, biology, chemistry, philosophy. I learned to recognize propaganda and rhetoric. By the time I finshed my undergrad in anthropology, I had no more doubts - man made god - not the other way around.
