Religious people irritate me to no end, with their whole "Holier Than Thou" routine...
They have this idea that everything they've done in the past, no matter what the intent, will all be forgiven as long as they hold on to their muddled belief that the universe was created just for them by their imaginary friend.
Atheism proposes positive disbelief rather than the mere suspension of belief. I find it so annoying when people say atheism somehow requires faith. After all, you only need faith when you're talking about something that's in NOT IN ANY WAY verifiable.
Something like a God.
If you're going to tell me that a God exists, you've got to show me some actual proof of his existence. Otherwise, I've got no reason to listen to you.
The burden of proof lies upon religion.
