Greetings. I am currently a university student, the degree I am working on is international studies/French language training. I have had the privilege to travel to many countries around the world. To name a few UAE, India, Thailand, Haiti, Australia, and Afghanistan. In tandem with my studies I serve part time as an Army Reservist(infantry), and have done so for 7 years. In that role I was deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan for 8 months; at that time I was 19. I am 23 now and seeking out as much knowledge as my brain can possibly comprehend. My future aspirations are varied. I am working on a novel, 80 pages in, so being published at some point is a major goal of mine. During my travels I have acquired a thirst for foreign culture, especially that of Haiti. Working abroad for either an NGO, Canadian Foreign Affairs, or what ever comes my way. Finally, although not nearly the least important, I am engaged to marry the woman of my dreams. Thaks for taking the time to get to know me.
In a Relationship
Why are you here?
I have always taken a great interest in religion. Having never been devout in any, its impact on the human experience fascinate me. I have read and watched alot of Hitchens and Dawkins, definitly been a significant influence upon me. I also read as much of the actual theological texts as my time permits; right now I have read the first 4 books of the new testiment, 2 Surras in the Koran, most of the mahabharata, and just started the Tibetan book of the dead. I am for sure no expert, and am looking foreward to enlightening discussion here.
