ContinueHey Nelson! I just attended the Think Atheist Baltimore meet up this evening. Morgan, Cara and Robert spoke so highly of you. Thank you for your contributions to this site. I gained much insight tonight and hope to be more involved :)
Hi Nelson. I belong to a number of educators' groups that highlight social justice issues; they include "Teaching Tolerance," "Teaching for Change," and "Rethinking Schools." Teaching Tolerance shared a link to an article about banned books in Tucson's schools, and it was while reading it that I stumbled across Think Atheist. I don't know how exactly but I think it was referenced in the article or on that page. Anyway I haven't had too much time to read what's hear but I'm interested in what I see so far! Best, Laura
Thank you! :)
No problem, it's good to be here.

Thanks for the "friending" Nelson. I'm looking through your posts.
Thanks for the add Nelson. I find your comments to be some of the most informative comments I come across.
D'oh, that was quite stupid of me.
Thank you for pointing that out-- also, a special thanks for actually reading the "About Me." I usually think those are widely ignored.
Hey Nelson,
think I followed you on twitter today.

Thanx Nelson. Love the shades on your profile pic!
Don't miss our new interview with Dr. Elliott Sober. Dr. Sober is the Hans Reichenbach Professor and William F. Vilas Research Professor at the University of Wisconsin- Madison. One of the world's outstanding Philosophers of Science and author of the recently published Did Darwin Write The Origin Backwards?, in addition to numerous additional titles, his interests center on the Philosophy of Biology, evolution, altruism, and confronting "Intelligent Design". We're so happy Dr. Sober joined us to discuss evolution, The Design Argument, Fine-Tuning, and much more..
And if you missed our interview with Vanity Fair magazine's Editor-At-Large, Mr. Cullen Murphy, talking about his new book God's Jury all about The Inquisition, be sure to check that out! Fascinating and horrifying bit of history there!
Make sure to check out all of our past shows and see who's coming up in the next few weeks! You can also grab the shows from our iTunes page.
