- I have long had an interest in religion, and have been appalled at the willful ignorance that is so rampant in most faiths. If God is too big to be understood by man, then it is also too big to fit into any one faith. Deciding this brought me to the idea of making my own faith, which I promptly did. It is a faith that takes a different turn then most. The one tenet that must be embraced and never questioned is a simple one 'I am wrong'. I think if more faiths brought that one founding idea into them selves, religion wouldn't be such a dirty word.

- Found a link from Fark to a story here, and stopped to look around. Made the mistake of hitting the forums and got hooked.

- Three reasons. First, I listened to what they had to say with an open mind... That one's enough to turn most away right there. Second, I watched the actions of the people. If the first didn't turn you away, that one would. And third, I played Devil's Advocate and thought about how I would screw things up, and noticed that the path the Judaic religions and all the off shoots followed, and they matched frighteningly well.

Actually, I didn't feel attacked at all, and I found your thoughts to be very interesting. In addition, I fully condone having my opinions and arguments attacked and ripped apart, how else could I possibly defend them well or discard them when they are wrong? I worship at the altar of science, and this site is one of my "peer-reviews".
