About Me:

Hello, I'm 21 years old and I am deaf which are one of the reasons I became an atheist. I used to be a believer in religion, my mother used to tell me every month that with prayers, my hearing loss will be healed but I lost faith then I found out more about evolution and the big bang theory, which I am glad to have an open mind about at the time. Thanks for scientists. Here's hoping for an atheist future world.

Why you left your religion.

I used to be a believer in religion, my mother used to tell me every 3 or 4 months when I was aged between 5-12 years old that with prayers, my hearing loss will be healed but I lost faith then I found out more about evolution and the big bang theory, which I am glad to have an open mind about at the time. And now I am an out and proud atheist. I still constantly try to convince my young cousins that religion is not good and atheism is freedom and good.
