Thank you God

More than 80 died in the terrorist attack in Norway. It lasted an hour and a half. Even if you believed in God and accept the fact that this attack started you have to wonder why "God" would "allow" it to last for so long. Now all you will hear is that prayers are being sent to those involved. A lot of good that will do now. Thank you "God" for "allowing" this horrible event to happen and stregthen my athieistic beliefsSee More

Help Me Understand

A fan died falling out of the stands at a Ranger game. Josh Hamilton, who is a Christian and credits Jesus Christ for helping him get through his drug and alcohol probelms, feels horrible about it. First of all shouldn't he say well the fan is now in a "better place" or curse God for allowing this to happen. He thanks God, why not curse God? If there was a God I could not worship such a cruel being to leave a family without a husband, father, son, brother, etc. I would love to see Hamilton…See More

   Athletes and God

       by David Eisen

Athletes are always thanking God for their performance on and off the court or the field. For example baseball player, Travis Ishikawa, a born-again Christian, would point to the heavens everytime he got a hit, which was not very often, but when he would make an out he did not repeat this motion. I have always found it interesting that they thank God for every hit but do not curse him when they fail. Why for example did…
