Proof of higher morality for atheists

Started this discussion. Last reply by Pope Beanie Mar 15. 20 Replies

It seems to me quite morally-telling that well-read atheists, those who have learned just how easy it is to become a huckster, create a new religion, and cash in on the seemingly endless searchers of…Continue

Why do people believe in gods?

Posted on January 25, 2014 at 11:14pm 1 Comment

I do not believe in a designer, buddy god, nor an ultimate creator god. Why? I haven't seen any evidence. I will ask the simple "why" question to see how they respond. Even the most knowledgeable theist and apologist will give a final answer whose essence is in the following…

The Theory of Christianity

Please not that…

Evolution and homosexuality

A friend of mine asked me a while ago what I thought about homosexuality in light of evolution. I thought about it for a while and googled it a bit, but I'm not sure I've found a satisfactory answer.

I currently believe that humans (and every other animal on the planet) are basically bags of animated DNA whose ultimate goal is to survive long enough to procreate in order to continue the particular DNA that each is created from. This is largely unconscious, but we all fight for…
