Hey Darwin!! Yep, I'm a fellow UU - and I'm an atheist and humanist as well ;) I just really love communing with others who accept me as an Atheist, dont try to "convert" me, and are firm believers in the democratic process. Oh, and I really love the "7 Principles". Finally, I like the way RE is conducted for my kids (I have five!) - teach them about the major religions in a objective manner. I also used to teach "Neighboring Faiths", which I really LOVE teaching.
Hi! Thanks for the invite. :) It is sad how many people require counseling because of a strict religious upbringing. I guess that it is just another way that the true detrimental nature of religion is exposed.
