I am a Hoosier, born and raised. I will say I feel for the victims of the tragic accident at the State Fair Saturday, August 13. What I fail to understand is how everyone, in the aftermath, is being asked to pray for the victims and their families and friends. I would think if anything were to define "Act of God" it would be a sudden and unexpected gust of wind strong enough to destroy a steel framed concert stage.Why is it no one ever blames their God for tragic events but always seeks comfort…See More

Morality and Purpose in Life

Being my first blog post on TA, I felt I should start with my basic principles for how I live my life. While I am not a militant atheist (I tend to consider myself agnostic leaning toward atheist) I don't hide my views when the topic of conversation leads to the spiritual.
