I am here to meet other atheists, to find people I can talk to about matters that I am to intimidated to discuss around my religious friends and to discover more about atheism in the world and the different viewpoints held.

Why you left your religion.
I began noticing the hypocrisy and inconsistencies of religion, especially mine. I didn't buy the flimsy explanations the church staff offered up. For a while i was in conflict with my belief, but I ultimately sat down and thought on the matter and realized the truth- there probably is no god, and religion is not a good thing.
