Happily (re)married with 3 boys. I'm a writer, musician, and marketing/animation professional.
Love to write, play piano/guitar, tennis, and love on our dog. Big fan of Netflix, and consuming lots of atheist-related materials.
I openly admit I get a particular kick out of arguing with apologists, trying to utterly destroy their positions, and I practice my arguments with them on line whenever time permits or I don't get too bored with rebutting the same thing over and over again.
Why are you here?
To connect with other like-minds. It's difficult to have a meaningful conversation with anyone other than my wife or my (critical-thinking but theist -- is that possible?) work buddy. EVERYone else just tunes out should we start talking about morality, belief, faith, etc. Gee... can anyone relate? :-)
The religion you left
Why you left your religion.
I became an atheist over two decades ago during a Pentacostal sermon; a light went on while the pastor spoke and I *clearly* remember saying to myself, "Wait...there's no reliable evidence for virgin birth, miracles, resurrection, etc. This is TOTAL BULLSHIT!" and I extricated myself out of that rotten matrix goop once and for all.
