"Simple answer no, and is best explained with Hubble's law."

Dale Newton replied to Nerdy Keith's discussion 'How to debunk: "The universe itself is my proof... it wouldn't be here without God"'
"Well with that question they've debunked their whole Genesis story of God creating all this, in only six days, because our Universe is still expanding, "something out of nothing" everyday."

Why are you here?
Honestly sometimes in this society, as an Atheist I'm left feeling like an outcast, and it would be nice to feel like I'm a part of a like minded community where my thinking, and chosen path through life isn't judged by anything but freethinking.
The religion you left
Why you left your religion.
Raised by a very strict baptist Mother, who dragged, me and my brothers to church every Sunday, till one morning my older Brother had the idea to I reset the main power breaker, so my Mothers alarm clock wouldn't go off and we would miss church, which we did miss, and we lied to my mother, and said the power had gone out. The world didn't end, our house wasn't struck by lightning, my brothers and I sat home and watched 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' and I didn't feel the least bit guilty about it. Thats when I really began to question the idea of faith, though I was still had the held some of the fears church instilled into me. All those silly fears were washed away a couple years later following the death of my older brother, and having to sit through his funeral, and had to listen to a fairy tale of why god need to bring my older brother "Home". Now I'm my own god.
