"I commented on that early in my post. I said that I'm only speaking for (mostly young) people who are neither old not in unlivable pain or conditions."

"This is the post that made me sign up to the site, BTW. Thanks M, Penn is one of my idols and his painted pinky nail is more eloquent than me.   (BTW, I became his devotee, not because of his atheism, but my love of magic.)"

Colin Tomele commented on Colin Tomele's blog post 'My reaction to the old 'Pope in a Bulletproof Car' observation.'
"Yeah, my point is that the hypocrisy is so obvious that they make up these rules about critical thinking and reasoning. They call these traits that make us separate from other primates and animals evil. Inside the great papal circus tent, it makes…"

Laura Benedict commented on Colin Tomele's blog post 'My reaction to the old 'Pope in a Bulletproof Car' observation.'
"The unthinking sheep (er, I mean people) who believe in organized religion and all that jazz don't think about the inherent hypocrisy in that religion.  I could go on and on for quite some time concerning the many hypocrisies I have…"

Your Religious Status
Atheist
About Me:
I'm an ex-Catholic (by birth and schooling, not by belief) who writes web applications, draws comics, shirt and band stickers/posters, writes crappy fantasy and short stories, reads fantasy and scifi when he has the time and has been a avid gamer since the early 80s.
Age
36-40
Why are you here?
To converse with, learn from and perhaps teach people who have decided to accept rationality and critical thought over blind faith.
The religion you left
Catholic
Why you left your religion.
I never really remember having faith, even though I went to a Catholic school from K-6. Especially as I got older, it all just seemed silly. As I became an adult, I realized that 'silly' was more 'harmful'.
