I am 19 and I am studying Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations. My dream is to be able to travel the world and learn about all different cultures and people. I love learning about new cultures and beliefs because they interest me. I guess my fondness for learning about multiple different religions led me to atheism because as soon as I realized why I thought all of these other deities were false I started to doubt the existence of the deity I believed in.

Why you left your religion.
There is a long list of reasons why I left the church I was in. For one it was a fundamental Pentecostal sect and I had a hard time taking the Bible literally as they taught. Secondly I have always had a fondness for cultures and religions and that led me to learning about different religions and such and as soon as I realized why I didn't believe in the other deities that have been proposed I held my deity in the same light and gave him the "reality" test.
