Clark replied to Unseen's discussion 'A Question for the Religious Folks Here'
"Well I don't believe in "God", but I was trying to take the viewpoint of religious people that I know. I believe most religious people try to find answers using a belief in a god because of their inability to comprehend a world…"

Clark replied to Unseen's discussion 'A Question for the Religious Folks Here'
"The accident might have had multiple purposes. But it may be how God is punishing the driver, be it for some other thoughts or actions. That could be God's will. And any punishment society gives that man is God's will as well. There…"

Clark replied to Unseen's discussion 'A Question for the Religious Folks Here'
"Even though this question is not intended for me to respond, being an atheist, I am anyway. My initial reaction when I heard this news story the other day was of sadness. It's a sad experience for families and friends to go through, the death…"

Clark replied to Simon Duffy's discussion 'What do atheists do for the community?'
"My answer to the initial question is I don't know of any "atheist groups". Atheists are another member of society, and as members of society, they get involved in the whole spectrum of society, from volunteering in the community,…"

Clark replied to Hank Hell's discussion 'What would you replace the bible with if you could?'
"Since I look at the Bible as a pseudo-history book, I would suggest books such as: The World's History, by Howard Spodek,  or History of the World, edited by William Nassau Weech Those are books that give a summary of the development of…"

Clark replied to doubtful's discussion 'can anyone answer me please ??'
"Others have seemed to answer your questions. My response: 1. it's all part of a long evolutionary process from earlier living mammals. 2. I assumed they lived, not as prophets per se, but they were written as to be prophets. I think of Moses…"

Clark replied to doubtful's discussion 'can anyone answer me please ??'
"Well, this is how understand or think about these questions. 1. I'm an evolutionary thinker, so the "first humans" probably evolved from an earlier hominid. 2. I've always assumed those men existed. Those religious books that…"

Clark replied to Bryan B's discussion 'Evolution is a religion?'
"From my understanding of what was stated in the linked post is that Evolution is a religion due to the fact it is something that people believe in and that it explains how we were created. I don't see "Evolution" in the same light at…"

Why you left your religion.
My family was not religious yet I attended Sunday school. My Wolf Cub and Boy Scout troupe was affiliated with a church. By my early teens I realized I was an atheist. Biblical stories seemed to be a mix of history and fairy tales.
