Have lived in Georgia for most of my life but have lived out in Los Angeles for three years and Menlo Park for one.

Why are you here?

To find others like minded, especially in the area. I think unless we band together, our voice will never be really heard. Especially in the south. I miss living in areas where freedom of no-religion is accepted. Here in Georgia I am bombarded with it daily. It's not "OK" to be Atheist, but it's okay to annoy me with your religious rants even at the drive thru when I tolerate "Have a blessed day" every time I need a Happy Meal.

Why you left your religion.

Raised Pentecostal and believed it without question until college. Once I started doing my own research and asking questions I was shunned from the church. I left when I realized how dangerous and poisonous religion was. I have been Atheist now for about 12 years.
