I'm... a little confused. It's as if you've read my comment backwards from it's intended meaning. What I was saying (trying to say?) is that I think it makes sense that you've exposed him to the Bible and let him debunk it mostly on his own. Most kids I know (myself included) who got to hear Christian theology without the proselytizing and apologetics didn't buy into it. If Brance debunks it with his own logic, it's all the more likely that he'll stick to his guns when someone tries to convert him down the road with disingenuous tactics.

Anyway, like others have commented, I thought it was a touching story. Thanks for sharing it.
