I can't pinpoint the day it happened, but I know the general time the realization that I didn't believe in a god happened. I have 2 children, am married, and I live in Indiana (USA). - I find that sometimes, it just nice to be among like-minded people. I don't personally know any other atheists, aside from my husband. Sometimes I have to walk on eggshells, it seems, with my religious friends. I get tired of doing that without an outlet for my own thoughts or feelings.
