Writing "the religion I left was atheism" on your profile, makes me seriously doubt that you were ever really an atheist or that you ever really understood the basic definition of the word. "a-theism" means "without religion." By definition it CAN'T be a religion, just like asexuality can't be called a sexual orientation; it would just be silly. Perhaps you were just being facetious or something, but such comments show a profound ignorance about atheism. There's nothing wrong with that, but you can't exactly claim to have been an atheist if you don't even know what the word means.
