Right now im in a debate with myself i have reasons to believe that ghosts are real and exist, but also im not so sure if they do. i want to know what all you guys think about the paranormal world?

Hello everyone i am a strong atheist and the bad thing is i live in the south(full of religious nut jobs).

I am surrounded my christians and all those very religious people and when I try to tell them im atheist they assume im satanic or im a bad person. i just need help on how to deal with people like this.

For awhile now ive been an atheist and when i tell people i am they think i am a horrible person. What i want to know is whats so bad about atheism? Of course my answer is nothing.
