- I consider myself an agnostic atheist. I believe in "faith in nothing". To have absolute faith in anything is to be arrogant and ignorant, and I simply will not stoop to a level comparable to those in religions who refuse to look outside of their bubble. However, I refuse to consider myself a 100% nonbeliever because there is a possibility for anything, and the human brain and conscious is very limited as to perception of the universe we live in.
Organized religion is an atrocity in my opinion, but I can understand and respect spirituality. In my opinion though, science is our only method of discovering what the universe is really all about, and to believe in such self-fulfilling prophecies as heaven and hell, a man in the sky, etc... is just foolish and delusional.

- I love being an atheist, living life for what it actually is, and seeking the real truth about our existence. I joined to discuss/debate topics and to find out more ideas and feelings towards atheism and other major issues. I also would love to meet people who share my ideals or anything close, because I have a really hard time connecting with people on a deeper level who believe in such utter bullshit as religion.

- A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a Yankees fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too, are Yankees fans.
Everyone in the class raises their hand except one little girl. The teacher looks at the girl with surprise and says, "Janie, why didn't you raise your hand?"
"Because I'm not a Yankees fan," she replied.
The teacher, still shocked, asked, "Well, if you are not a Yankees fan, then who are you a fan of?"
