- I am 18 years old and I have been a non believer for as long as i can remember. I have become a strong atheist in the recent years after educating myself and doing much research, the truth is very clear to me. Religion is simply dividing us and creating a judgmental society.
I find it very strange that people want a sky daddy to look down on them 24/7, and to know what they are thinking, i could never live this way, i like my privacy thank you very much. I never asked jesus to die for my sins, so why should i live my life by these rules to thank him? I have great morals just by knowing what is right and what is wrong, its very simple and i do not need to fear a god to behave well.
I have 3 lines of grandfathers who were Anglican priests and most of my family are theists, and grew up going to a Christian Church Camp community every summer, were my family has a cottage. I love my family despite them being god lovers, i have no intention of attacking anyones belief systems, but sometimes the truth hurts, and i don't believe religion deserves any respect, so i will debate it as if it were politics.
As a young child I didn't know much about religion except that church was boring and I never wanted to go solely for that reason. I now don't want to attend church because I believe religion is mind control and deluding the minds of those who believe in a deity.
I have high hopes to educate, and teach the new generations that you don't need imaginary support to be strong and happy in your life. I plan on making a YouTube blog to voice my strong opinions on religion, but also show my creative side. I am very interested in film and music. I hope to get into the business in the future, my dream is to put my ideas into music videos and movies. I also want to create documentaries and short films.
