Why are you here?
To understand more about the struggles many atheist are put through, I live in the SF bay area and rarely run into any discrimination based on my lack of belief.
The religion you left
Was never a part of one
Why you left your religion.
My father is nonreligious and my mother is an ex catholic. So I was never taken to church, or taught anything religious. When I was little I believed in a god though it was more of just someone that watches over us, and a nice place we go to after we die; nothing about sin, hell, or the bible when I was about 11 I just stopped believing in any god whatsoever, don't really remember why.
